Who moves on to finals?
Advancement to Finals (day 2) is based on how teams placed in Semi-Finals (day 1):
How much free time will athletes have during their time at Summit?
Athletes will have some free time, but please exercise caution with what activities you partake in. Obviously, the competition and preparation for the competition should be the priority. Typically, team parents and coaches will plan some events and dinner to make sure that athletes have fun but can stay well rested.
What can we expect on competition day?
In the past, on the day of the competition athletes will meet with their coaches at the hotel and bus over to ESPN together. Athletes will find an area to stretch and mark before heading back to warm ups. Warm ups are 12 min on one full floor before competing.
What are the transportation arrangements?
Parents and chaperones should be receiving a wristband when they arrive for check-in. This will allow them to use the competition travel shuttle buses that will be looping to and from the competition venue (ESPN Wide World of Sports). The hotel also offers buses to the four Disney Parks and you can obtain a copy of that bus schedule at check-in.
* Parents who are not staying at the hotel will be required to find their own mode of transportation to and from ESPN.
