What is the summit?

The Summit is an end-of-season in Disneyland, Florida.   It is an invite-only competition that is offered for Youth, Junior, and Senior teams levels 1 through level 5 restricted (prep teams and tiny/mini teams are not eligible). Invites are awarded at Varsity competitions in the form of bids and are offered in 3 different tiers - Paid, At-Large, and Wild Card. ​

CCNW will be attending 5 competitions that offer Summit bid opportunities. Paid bids are offered to the highest scoring Youth team, Junior team, and Senior team. At-Large bids are offered to the highest scoring Level 1 team, Level 2 team, Level 3 team, Level 4 team, and Level 4.2 or 5 restricted team, regardless of age group. Wild-card bids are offered to the highest scoring Youth team, Junior team, and Senior team, regardless of level. 

Summit is a 3-day event -

• Day 1 - Wild Card round. Teams that received a Wild Card bid compete on Friday. The top 1 & 2 placing teams will advance straight to finals on Sunday, Day 3. The 3rd place team will advance to semi-finals on Saturday, Day 2. 
• Day 2 - All at-large & paid bid recipients will compete in addition to the teams that moved on from the WildCard round. Approximately the top 50% (dependent on the amount of teams in the division & caps at a total of 10 teams) will advance to Finals.
• Day 3 - Finals. This is where the top 3 teams in each division are crowned Summit Champions. The 1st place team will receive custom Summit rings. 

Receiving any type of bid to The Summit places a team in the top 10% in the nation. We are so excited to have the goal of taking all of our age-eligible teams to Summit this year. Last year, CCNW took the most teams of all gyms in the Pacific Northwest to Summit with four teams placing in the top 8 in finals!
